Fast forward to modern times, Will and his business partner, John Ripper, recently founded Vinton Entertainment, Inc. as a boutique animated movie and licensing studio. They have branded themselves as a “new breed” of studio, fashioning a powerful business model to develop, produce, market, and distribute animated films, and license their intellectual properties to global markets. Headquartered in Portland Oregon, Vinton utilizes resources and works with partners world-wide for production, marketing, distribution and licensing. The Company has a robust development pipeline of scripted animated feature film projects. Comical, adventurous, and/or sentimental, the properties have all been created to entertain family audiences with great stories, fantastic characters and gorgeous 3D animation.

During his long term as CEO of the studio, he managed to produce and directed numerous award winning CG (computer generated) short films, television commercials, music videos and television specials, working with the likes of Eddie Murphy, Ray Charles and Michael Jackson. Shortly after selling his company in 2004, Will began developing a slate of new animated feature film properties. Will has led the development of over 15 movie scripts for Vinton Entertainment, working together with some of the best writers, producers, and comedians in the country.
John has been a television producer for over 25 years, working on national television series in Los Angeles for Metromedia and HBO, a Disney special produced in China, and numerous public television programs. In 1988, he co-founded Tyee Productions and served as CEO for 12 years as they gained national prominence as a leading producer of long form television advertising programs for Fortune 500 companies. John also created a 50 program series for the SciFi Channel that aired in the mid-1990s. After selling Tyee Productions in 2000, John engaged in several successful start-up entrepreneurial efforts including his role as founder and CEO of Oregon Aesthetic Technologies. He joins Vinton Entertainment with responsibilities for operations, marketing and management.
